The Santos Trailhead and Campground is a state park in Ocala, Florida and a paradise for cycling and hiking The park is located on the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway. The Santos trailhead draws riders from all over the state. There is also hiking and equestrian trails marked and maintained.
We camped here in October and November of 2022 and again in January 2023. The campground is small with just one loop but it was great being so close to a paved 15-mile trail for biking or hiking. The Santos Paved Trail aka Marjorie Harris Cross Greenway is paved from Belleview Santos to SR 200 in West Ocala. It's perfect for riders of all experience levels whether riding road bikes, mountain bikes or hybrid bikes. Santos also includes an 80-plus mile single-track diverse bike trail for beginners as well as expert-level trails that are a challenge for the elite riders. There are also 79 miles of equestrian trails and parking for equestrian. DIRECTIONS: From I-75 exit on Hwy 484 (Belleview exit) and travel 2 miles west to Hwy 475. Turn Left onto Hwy 475 and travel 4 to 5 miles to SE 80th Street Turn right onto SE 80th Street entrance on the right Google Maps     |
