Lake Tobesofkee is a reservoir located on Tobesofkee Creek in Bibb County Georgia.  The lake was formed in the 1960's to control flooding and I remember when there was only primitive camping and no homes on the lake. It soon became a wonderful site for public recreation and is now known throughout the state for it's fishing. Locals refer to the lake as "Tobo."

There are three public parks in the Recreation Area named Clayton, Sandy Beach and Arrowhead Park. They all have facilities for fishing, camping, boating and tennis.  Arrowhead Park includes several miles of mountain biking trails.

We camped here in October 2015 on a nice water
front site. The days were warm and the nights cool. It was perfect camping weather and the cats agreed. They enjoyed their walks in the evening.

The sites are all paved but some are really small and not level.  Most of the water front sites are level and you can reserve those for seven days. The pull-through sites are really large and there is a view of the water. We stayed on site 14 and was able to back in easily but it is a short site.
