America the Beautiful Federal Senior Pass
THE FEDERAL SENIOR PASS
America The Beautiful
This is a "must" if you are a US Citizen or permanent resident and 62 or older. This used to be called the Golden Age Pass but now it's America the Beautiful Federal Senior Pass.

This pass may be obtained in person at a federal recreation site for $80 or through the mail the USG Store. The cost of obtaining a Senior Pass through the mail is ninety dollars ($90). Eighty ($80) for the Senior Pass and ten ($10) for processing the application.  Applicants must provide documentation of age and residency or citizenship.

You will receive a 50 percent discount on some amenity fees charged for facilities and services such as camping, swimming, boat launch, and specialized interpretive services. It will not cover special recreation permit fees or fees charged by concessioners.

There are five federal agencies that honor the Senior Pass - the Forest Service, the National Park Service, the Fish and Wildlife Service, the Bureau of Land Management, and the Bureau of Reclamation. Even if you don't camp, you will be able to drive through national parks without paying an entrance fee.
