NEARBY ATTRACTIONS

Bald Ridge Creek Marina
Cumming, GA

Bald Ridge Creek Camp Ground is a Corp of Engineer park on Lake Sidney Lanier. The reservoir was created in 1956 with the completion of Buford Dam on the Chattahoochee River. We camped here in June 2012 and had a gorgeous shady site facing Lake Lanier. This lake offers swimming, water skiing, sailing, boating and fishing. The grounds are extremely clean and well kept.

There are 82 sites with 15 pull-throughs and almost every site is lake front or lake view. The roads through the campground are paved and the site pads are paved. There is a boat ramp in the campground and two parking areas for the boat trailer.

We enjoyed riding our bikes through the park and relaxing. The temperature was 104 degrees and we lost electricity for two hours on Saturday nite. We understand this happens frequently at this campground. There's not a trail here and most campers were on their boat enjoying beautiful Lake Lanier.

DIRECTIONS FROM ATLANTA:

Turn right onto Pilgrim Mill Road and travel 2 miles through 2 lights.
Turn right onto Sinclair Shoals Road and travel 1/2 mile.
