Dames Ferry Campground is the only campground on Lake Juliette in Juliette GA. Lake Juliette was formed by the Ocmulgee River and most of the camp sites have a beautiful view of the lake. Boating in Lake Juliette is limited to 24 horsepower motors. This campground is operated by High Falls State Park.
Nearby is the small town of Juliette and was made famous in the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes." The Whistle Stop Cafe is a must while you're there. We camped here in October 2018 and again in March 2021. We had a great time and loved being right on the water. DIRECTIONS FROM ATLANTA:
