Hi Jolly Campground is located about 3 miles north of Quartzsite off of Highway 95. This campground is BLM (Bureau of Land Management) land and free for 14 days. Just inside the campground is the camp host so be sure to check in. There are no designated sites or any amenities but an excellent spot to boondock while visiting Quartzsite.
The town of Quartzsite becomes a huge outdoor swap meet for gems and minerals every January and February and it's very hard to find a spot for camping. At other times during the year the area is not so crowded.
This public land offers unforgettable sunsets and views. We enjoyed stopping for a few nights in March 2018. We were able to get fresh water, propane and dump in Quartzsite at The RV Pit Stop.
