O'Leno State Park is located on the banks of the Santa Fe River and is one of Florida's first state parks. Inside the park, the river disappears and flows underground for approximagtely 3 miles before it becomes a surface stream again.
The park covers 6000 acres and was originally constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the late 1930's. There are two camping loops (Magnolia and Dogwood). We camped here for two nights in December 2020. We enjoyed the trails, suspension bridge and walking our cat. DIRECTIONS FROM ATLANTA:
