Otter Springs Park and Campground is a private park consisting of  636 acres of natural Florida. Otter Springs is a beautiful natural spring with an average temperature of 73 degrees and a flow of 10 million gallons of sparkling water daily.  The spring flows into the nearby Suwannee River.

We camped here in March 2017 and enjoyed the end site facing the field which was perfect for walking the cats and viewing the deer playing. The sites are dirt but level and some are very close sharing the electric post.

The Florida Nature Coast trail is 3 miles away and we loved biking to Old Town and crossing the old train trestle over the Suwannee River. We also hiked and biked on the dirt road inside the campground to the Suwannee River.

Located inside the campground is the Spring House Lodge where weddings and family reunions are held. There is a wrap-around porch and a dance floor. Cabins are also available with equipped kitchens and air conditioning. There is also primitive tent camping available.
