Sayre City Park Campground is within the Sayre City Park and offers an inexpensive place to stop close to I-40. There are eleven pull through sites with 30/50 amp but most sites are in an open field. Some of the sites have electric and others are just primitive. There is one ADA space with sidewalk access to the restroom.
We camped here in April 2018 on our way home from California. The park doesn't offer any amenities but it was a good stop for us to get a quick rest. We walked across the road to the city park area but the pool was closed. There is also mini golf in the park and a few trails. There is no attendant or camp host on site and payment is on the honor system. Be careful when walking your pets here because there are numerous sticker plants even in the gravel. DIRECTIONS:
