Lake Burton
Moccasin Creek State Park
US Fish Hatchery

This is a great campground in the mountains with two creeks running through the grounds. The onsite store sells the necessities and the outdoor bar opens in the evening. It's a great place to hang out on the weekend with live music.

The roads are all paved and the sites all appeared very level. The owners were very friendly and help everyone back in their rigs. The grounds are well maintained and it's a great place to stay and visit all of the country shops selling artwork and pottery.

We stayed here in June 2018 on our Southern Highroads Trail trip. We found the park to be very quiet and friendly. We rode our bikes and relaxed by the creek.

The US Fish Hatchery is a great place to visit and then have lunch at LaPrades Marina.
