White Oak Creek Recreation Campground is located on the shores of Walter F. George Lake (also known as Lake Eufaula) on the Georgia and Alabama border. This facility is operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers and includes the Chattahoochee River/Reservoir. The lake stretches 85 miles up the Chattahoochee River.
We spent one night here in October 2019 and loved being by the water. This area is very wooded with lots of wildlife to enjoy. Most campers come here for the fishing where largemouth bass, white bass, hybrids, crappie, channel catfish and bream are found. DIRECTIONS FROM EUFAULA AL:
