Fifth Wheel to Class A

We are considering selling our fifth wheel/dually and purchasing a class a motorhome. Our fifth wheel is a great setup for long term with a lot of room ( about 425 sq feet ). After staying two weeks at a time on several adventures, one month at Lake Seminole and two months at Destin West,  we think we prefer the shorter stays. The class a's seem to be easier to move from park to park.

There is something to be said for the saying "Buy your third camper first".

If interested in our  2013 camper or 2013 F350 dually, please contact us.

Sewer Heaven

Here at Destin West RV Resort we have had the pleasure of full sewer hookup. This means I can run a sewer hose from my black water tank and bathroom gray water tank. Another hose runs from a separate kitchen gray water tank. These two hoses connect together with a Y fitting and then to the park sewer connection. We still have to keep our tank valves closed until the tanks are nearly full before dumping them in the parks sewer system. We dump the black first and then the bathroom gray to flush the hose. The kitchen is last for no particular reason.

When there is not full hookup, one has to wait until they leave the campgrounds and swing by the dump station on the way out. We use a portable tote that has to be pulled behind our vehicle to the dump station twice every 3 or 4 days. You have to wear gloves of course and make sure all is sanitized when finished.

Thus, full hookup is "Sewer Heaven".

Please remember to contact us with any questions.
